Going from 2010 CTD to 2012 PW
Keep in mind, nothing is free. There is a cost attached to anything that they say they are giving you. In most cases you you are better off dispensing with the free stuff and having them take the cost off of the purchase price.

This is not my first new purchase. My mom worked for Dodge Dealer in Texas for 18 years. She checks EVERYTHING out for me. She says it's legit and told me to go for it. Here are the discounts I got offered and they are on the bill of sale already.
$2500 regional
$500 Military
$500 Dodge Loyalty
$8000 Off MSRP offered by the dealer
My MSRP is $51,455. Dealer gave me what I owe in my 10'. Looking at the paperwork there is no charge for the warranty. I'm just waiting for the PW to be delivered so I can look over it for any issues and then sign the paperwork.

Some people will complain about anything
Don't worry about it. It's more likely the fact that many of us have had to actually deal with these extended warranty types before.
I have one on my DD. Got it at 30k when the factory warranty bit the dust, and used it within 1000 miles or so. You don't think that got thier attention?

A little over $800.00, but they paid it with only a few questions asked.
Make sure you understand everything about the conditions of the warranty itself.
What happens if you deploy, and can't meet the service intervals (in months)?
Are they authorized to use used or "reconditioned" equipment to fix your truck?
And what happens if you modify it? Lets say you go to a slightly taller/wider tire, do a suspension lift, or other mod.
Does any of this void the warranty?
Do some research on the company.
Forget their "ratings" or what your mom told you about them, and see what the end users have to say. I'm sure you can find something on Google.
And sure it's a moneymaker for the dealership, but who cares?
The only thing that really matters at the end of the day, is that you're happy with the deal you received and the truck you're driving

Thanks for your service and enjoy your new truck
