I'd wait a year or two until the "drivetrain" changes! Should be interesting!

I would. I love mine. Only thing he has to worry about is the EGR/Cooler and DPF issues which lead to other issues. I didn't have any problems with my DPF popping up on the dash so I wouldn't be too concerned about that. The main thing I would be concerned about is the crossover tube putting soot into your engine. Other than that, it's great! I'd buy one over a Ford or Chevy everyday of the week.

Personally, I just deleted my truck and had 30,000miles on it before doing the deletes without any problems. I know the older model dodges had a bunch of issues with the EPA Emissions BS on them. But I think, mos the kinks have been worked out, but still, I don't want soot going in my engine.

Talking about the dual clutch 8 speed auto tranny rumor that has been floating around for a couple of years. Hmm, interesting.

It would be nice going from the 4 speed bog-o-matic to an 8 speed.

I'd prefer just a 6 speed manual though. Delete and add clutch.

G56 is a great transmission all they need is a real clutch in front of it. And tune it for 825!!

Dodge also needs to put in a electric locker like the Super Dutys

I would be surprised if cummins changed the predominant good thing they have going for them to a V8 configuration, if they did it had better perform outstanding to make up for the loss of interest from many of the buying public.

There would be no reason to change the engine since it meets the emissions standards.

I'd guess a pretty penny to develop a new motor like Ford did.
