Difference between 2500 and 3500 SRW

So my racing series has ended and the need to pull heavy trailers has come to an end. I currently have a 2013 DRW with the Asian trans that has served me well but isn't the easiest to park. I was out at the local dealership looking at the SRW trucks when I saw 2 trucks identically optioned sitting next to each other, both diesels, even same color. Then my wife noticed one was a 2500 and the other 3500 the trucks were within 200.00 of each other, which got me wondering what was different between the trucks. Is it the ring gear size in the rear? Different spring rates?? Inquiring minds want to know......

An extra leaf (maybe two, don't remember) and a sticker allowing you to pull heavier loads with the 3500. Everything else on them are the exact same.

My 15 dually 3500 does have tire pressure sensors. Always used to be that the only differences were cab clearance lights are standard on a 3500 and it had helper springs. I believe that is still true.

When talking differences now between Dodge trucks you have to say what years because I have a 2012 3500 without cab light and no TPMS. For 2010-2012 there was different spring pack, no TPMS. From 2013+ many differences in the kind of suspensions available.
