cruse control
On my "new to me" 2011 the cruse control isnt half as good as it is on my 2nd generation- is this a known issue on 4th gen's or is something seriously wrong with my truck?
If I set it for 65 it sometimes drops to 58 before figuring itself out. I also stomped it to the floor to get out of the way of a guy coming up behind me and the pedal was completely dead- it actually slowed down 5 mph when i floored it with the cruse set

Perhaps the engine is having a hard time breathing. Pull out the air pressure/temp sensor in the intake horn and have a look, if it's clogged then I would take off the intake horn for a further inspection, you might be shocked at what you find.

Dealer thinks its has to do with the wiring harness thats in process of being swapped out under the fuel heater recall- its currently on back order for a few weeks- the diesel heater took out a another nearby harness and I had to have the truck for memorial day so they put the old harness back in and got it up and running for me for memorial, but it now has a huge red lighting bolt lit up on the dash- friends say is in de-rate mode and about 1/4 power- hope it hauls my toy hauler up the hills ok.
