Don't know why you can't get solid black.
food for thought but you might want to look at getting an 11 if you are wanting a new truck. reason being is that 12 will have urea. its an added expense that we all don't need.

yup, that is why i am looking now. if i can get this 11 it will be my last truck for a LONG time. aftermarket guru's will finger out a way to bypass the urea eventually but always the 1st year or 2 are the ones to avoid because of virgin technology. I know the cab/chassis already have urea so it won't be too virgin but still.

Awesome, but they won't let me select it on the website for the 2011. Maybe the site is screwed up.

the build it yourself option on their website is generic. there are many options you can do when you go to the dealer and build it thru the system direct.

Wow, that's news to me. I thought they weren't going to Urea.

Do you have any links I can read up on?

Ok, great. I may go talk to the dealer today.

I just got a contract on a house, mainly an investment that i will fix up a little and resale. I hope it sells before they quit taking orders for 2011s.

Yeah but I'm wondering if the emissions have changed from 2010 to 2012.

The cummins meets 2010 emission requirements without urea.

I don't know why they would add it after just bringing out the new HO. Seems like it would be better to do it now than 6 months from now when they start building 12's.

Rest easy yall.

The quote at the bottom from Cummins said the new HO won't use urea and it won't be produced till second quarter which will mean it is most likely a 2012.
