food for thought but you might want to look at getting an 11 if you are wanting a new truck. reason being is that 12 will have urea. its an added expense that we all don't need.
Whaaaaa are you serious??? Even in the 6 speed manual? I won't be able to get a new truck till later this year...

yup, that is why i am looking now. if i can get this 11 it will be my last truck for a LONG time. aftermarket guru's will finger out a way to bypass the urea eventually but always the 1st year or 2 are the ones to avoid because of virgin technology. I know the cab/chassis already have urea so it won't be too virgin but still.

no links. sorry. its what I am being told by a few dealers (not the ones I am looking at trucks at eithe. I work for one and have many friends at others) that is coming down the pipeline to meet 12 emissions requirements.
I just got a contract on a house, mainly an investment that i will fix up a little and resale. I hope it sells before they quit taking orders for 2011s.
Rest easy yall.

The quote at the bottom from Cummins said the new HO won't use urea and it won't be produced till second quarter which will mean it is most likely a 2012.
