This is the new product information page on the Ram website. Click on the link and access the "Transmission" tab. If you click between G-56 and Aisin you will notice it says "Aisin Eight Speed". Did something change?

I'll be dang if it Aisin isn't an 8-speed now..... Heard long ago that was the deal, a new 8-speed tranny.

I am pretty sure the 8spd is only for the Hemi option

Well, someone please go buy a '13 3500 Black Mega Laramie 4x4, Aisin and baby the he!! out of it. (Try to keep the miles down too please.)
I will need it in 2018!
