So I am coming into a bit of money at end of month and I can easily buy a new truck. I got my 04.5 with 101k on it. Now this truck only work is plowing. I never towed with it. Its mostly a daily driver. Lately I have been feeling the bumps of a 3500 too much. So I could either update it and get a new 2010 2500/3500 CTD with a plow. Or keep the 04.5 and buy a 1500 as a daily driver. I am thinking I really should drive both of them. But I am kinda leaning towards the softer 1500 ride. Is the 6.7 really worth stepping up too?

well dave if u are looking for ride quality I just bought a 2010 2500 crew 4X4 and the ride is exceptional. My previous truck was a 06 F150 supper crew FX4 and the ride of my new truck is just as smooth. Not to mention is has a cummins. I would recommend that go test drive the new hd's before u buy a 1500.

I've test driven 2010 2500 4WD's with both Cummins and Hemi, and they are very nice. Just test drove a 2010 1500 4WD over the weekend and really was amazed at how nice the ride was, while still having a very solid and planted to the road feel. I'm beginning to wonder if I really need another HD. Maybe keep my '05 HD and get a 2010 1500 4WD? They really are nice. But I hate the ultra short bed on the 1500's. The Crew is only 5'6", while the Quad is 6'4". I like the short bed Super Duty's bed length at 6'9".
