Tuner or gauges--what do I need?
Want to monitor egts on my new 17 3500 dually. I will be hauling max payload and towing in mountain passes so want to be able to keep an eye on it. I haven't figured out everything on this truck yet but I understand it doesn't have an egt gauge.
As of now I don't think I need to add performance. I can't delete.
Should I consider a tuner or just add a gauge (s)?
If a tuner, what kind for my application?
thank you

In my honest opinion, you don't need any of that. But if you really want to keep an eye on it, you just need something like the Edge Insight CTS2. You may need to drill and tap a hole in the manifold to install an Edge EGT probe.
That's expensive, but gives you multiple gauges to monitor compared to a mechanical EGT gauge.
