stacking a smarty

I'm wanting to stack my smarty with a tuner that I can monitor and change on the fly. What are my compatible options?

First things first. Are we talking about a 4th gen truck?

Give us a lil more info on what you have. But more than likely on a 4th gen, no. Edge doesnt make tuners for the 4th gens after 2011, and I believe they are no longer delete capable. Now the Smarty would be, but you would have to watch the timing, if you use both boxes to add timing you will have issues.

You best bet, on the 4th gens, is go with H&S.

Its 4th gen 2011. I read that edge juice with attitude can be stacked with my smarty if I use the programs that do not adjust timing. I was goin to make a trade for an h&s but the guy backed out.

You are along the right lines. Just make sure that only one of them is adding timing.

Have you heard of anyone stacking a bullydog that does ford, chevy and dodge with a smarty? I ran across one but I'm sceptical on bullydog tuners.

With setting my smarty on a no timing tune I should be able to stack the two tuners since the edge does timing. Ive read this stack is good cause the smarty has a better low end while the edge is better for top end.

Probably easier to go H&S and MCC and custom tune you truck. Ya stacking works sorta. Nothing worst than stacking stuff that wasn't designed to be used together.

Basically the MCC will give you everything you need to tune your truck. Use the mini max to defuel and for the gauges. Nice thing is you can adjust power on the fly with the mini.
