Sinister EGR cooler delete hose
Here is a simple fix to a problem with the Sinister EGR cooler delete kit hose connection fitting, working loose.
Simply drill a small dia. hole, in each of the brackets involved as shown and twist a good quality SS aircraft wire in between the two, and the hose bracket can no longer rotate away from the larger bracket.
I didn’t like the way the o-ring hose fitting relied on the single ¼” dia. bolt that allowed the bracket to pivot, too maintain the integrity of this connection.
Anyway I just wanted to pass this along to anyone else who has seen this problem.
Cheers,
RS

If you disable/remove any part of the emission system and leave the DPF installed it will become plugged no matter what year the truck is. The original poster is talking about a 2012 truck, the 2013 and up is a different kettle of fish. To use a BD for delete on a 2013 and up you need an "unlock cable" and a delete capable tuner. You first attach the BD then when prompted you attach the unlock cable then when prompted attach the BD tuner again. I don't know what BD model you have but why not just call BD and ask? If you do delete the 2013 and up truck needs a muffler or perhaps even 2 mufflers, it's very noisy even after we added a muffler and way louder than my 2011 with the factory muffler. I say this as it would have saved money to have just bought 2 mufflers instead of the delete pipe.
