I've been changing mine at 5k for oil and 10k oil and fuel filter. Mobil 1 is a good oil and you will get a lot of varied suggestions. I have been using the Delo.

That's a good oil. Nothing wrong with it at all.

Hello back again well got all my deletes done along with a H&S mini max with flo pro 4 inch turbo back exhaust now moving on to leveling kit along with rims and tires getting 20x8.5 black rockstars kinda stuck on tires thought. I work in the oil field in Wyoming so I drive alot in the mud and snow. Any suggestions on a good tire???? I want 35s also with a leveling kit installed would I run into any rubbing issues if I went with a 20x10 rim????? Thanks in advance for everyone's input!!!!!

Wow...let me be the first to say congrats on your deletes. When reading your posts I was wondering if your were going to take the plunge. You will be glad you did!

As far as oil goes, I use AMSOIL DEO 5W-40. It is a bit more expensive, but well worth it. There has been some discussion after doing the deletes that you should be able to run the pre-2007 diesel oil--the CI-4. I plan on doing some oil analysis on my current oil, then switch to the AMSOIL AME 15W-40 CI-4 and performing oil analysis on it as well.

Can't help you on the lift/leveling kit or tires.

Shell Rotella T standard Dino is what I run. The synthetics are good too, but why mess with what works IMO

On to the next project!!!!

Ok finally got rims and tires on went with 20x9 black ballistic offroad jesters with 33inch federal MTs no leveling kit gonna lift it only want to do it once. Getting ready to move on to an AFE stage 2 cold air intake along with a 100GPH airdog 2. Now Iam going to Powerlabs for the airdog install and the tech there is recommending a fuel rail shim kit along with the install. Does any one have any options on the fuel rail shim kit??? Ive done some research on it and have come up with mixed reviews!!!

About the intake!!! AFE OR S&B??? The S&B is nice to look at and leaner appearance but the AFE just looks like it flows better!!! Any suggestions????

Either is fine, just get a dry one. Washing, drying and oiling them is a PITB.

Banks

I've had both the S&B and the AFE stage II. Both are made well and perform as advertised, but After installing the Banks Ram air before I moved out to Arizona, there is no comparison as far as fit, finish and function. The fact that you pick up cold air from outside the engine compartment is worth the price alone. Great investment and I think more filter element than both listed above.
