H&S stop selling delete kits....

This is nothing.
There is always a way around this.
Nothing says that you can not tune and program a stock truck in its stock form. The programmers will be released as so, with no option to delete from H&S.
Then magically, tunes will be found in the deepest reaches of the interwebs. They will be handed off in the middle of the night like shady narcotics deals.
Paper weights will then be made that look suspiciously like the top ends of exhaust manifolds. Intake horns for New Holland tractors with the Cummins 6.7 engine.
This is a mere speed bump.
Keep Calm and Carry On.

The government is probably responding to complaints from citizens.
Folks have been saying it for years.......
like this:
http://www.news10.net/news/article/1...ut-pedestrians
There was no real attention paid to diesel trucks a few years ago, no particulate filters, no EGR, no emmissions tests,........
then some owners pulled them off the back burner and cranked up the heat with stunts like these.

I wouldn't be so hasty blaming the EPA.

Ill spend 10 grand if I have to and convert my truck to a P Pump before I put it back to stock. They can take my programmer, Ill do it another way just to spite them.
I dare them to try and stop me. Ill let them know right quick what they can do with my rear end and fight til I have no fight left in me.

I'm guessing Blake is right (great post by the way- LOL). The market demand is there, the suppliers will find a way to get the products on the market. Just think of all the guys like me waiting for their warranty to expire so they can delete. The demand will be there for years to come. Delete shops will pop up along the border from Tijuana to Juarez, and Toronto to Vancouver. Tuners will move production to Brazil, and you'll soon be able to again order programmers, just like you can get meds from Canada in the mail.
Capitalism always finds a way.
(in the meantime, I wish I had the funds to grab a programmer from one of the online-retailers to put away for a rainy day, but after last Tuesday I spent this month's discretionary income on high-cap magazines and ammo)

Blake,....now your talking,.....a P-Pump on your new truck!
You are right though, there is always ways around these "BANNED" products!
EFI Live is going to clear alot of this up too.

Thats MR Hoss to you buddy!
I had to cut my downpipe to get it off and I'm pretty sure it won't go back together so I won't be putting anything back on my truck anytime soon. Especially since I've heard stock down pipes are in the neighborhood of $2600.

Thankfully mine been deleted and can run without the tuner. I wished I knew about this sooner cause I would have bought more programmers probably worth their weight in gold right now.
I can see new diesel truck sales going to take a decent hit. I know I'm going to wait to see what happens.

I have a few I'm watching on eBay.
One seller of a Mini Maxx with Pyro has gone from $1,050 to $1,250 to $1,450, and now it's at $1,795. They have 10 left for sale.
If you were going to buy, I would buy quick, I still see the Mini Maxx on eBay listed for around $900 and I've also seen some at "Buy It Now" for $2,900.
Prices are going crazy but if Smarty pulled their delete tunes and some of the others too and now H&S, what's out there now is all that's left.
Did I get mine? I'll never tell..

H&S still has there updates available, I just downloaded the latest for the BM after I noticed this thread. I just checked again and it is still available. I wonder why MADS pulled their software then?
