H&S no more, what tuner now?

I havent kept up with some of these tuners in a while. Years ago I bought an XRT PRO for my 11, 4500 and deleted it. Also a Mini Maxx for my wifes 12 2500, also deleted.

Tonight I went to find updates on both tuners and theyre gone! No website to support the tuners. I kinda read online a few minutes that if you have the H&S installer you can put in the memory card and let it scan for updates but I dont see how thats really possible if theres no website etc to pull from. Anyone in this same boat? Now im debating on getting new tuners. would need to work with my 4500CC, I have it set on 40hp. Not looking for anything extreme just a little power and stay deleted. The 12 Im wanting to get a tuner pretty capable to control a bit of functions and mainly want it getting good mileage. Or should i just keep these tuners till I do have issues? I never really got great mileage results out of the 12 on the current tuner compared to others I read of...thought that it needed some updating possibly...thats what I was shooting for tonight. Thanks for any input!

I recently went through the dilemma. Was seriously considering a Mini-Maxx until I found out there was no support. Decided on a RaceMe Ultra. Comes with 68RFE tuning out of the box (basically just seems to increase line pressure and change shift point, but it does seem to lock up quicker). Can monitor any number of parameters. So far, I'm happy with it. I just run it on a stock power tune and mileage has increased about 2-3 mpg.

Hope this helps,

Bob

Man.... Some insight here would be great. I'm at the point where something to simply shut off EGR (I understand it doens't need to be deleted, it can be "switched off" according to Blake's sticky thread).

I email Smarty about the Smarty programmer and they reply with no, it will not address deletes due to EPA regs. Maybe I didn't ask the right question. Maybe they are being politically correct. I asked them about the Touch. We'll see. I was going to just go the Jr. route but the idea of eliminating EGR is desirable. On the Sinister site, they indicate that neither EDGE nor BullyDog products do not support emissions delete tuning yet they sell products to remove emissions crap.

And yes, apparently H&S is TU but there are a BOAT LOAD of MMs out there for sale. It would be cool if someone knew what was going on there.

Just got a reply from Smarty:

The programmers do not ship to address deletes.

Only the Smarty Touch will accept the custom tuning required and we do not provide custom tuning.

Google Double R Diesel. They can hook you up with what you need.
