Full delete with mini maxx and perform service message

I did a full delete last summer using a mini maxx and the trans tune. Recently when I’m towing or when I get on it to pass the perform service message comes on and the message stays until one key cycle. Anyone had this happen? It’s had two services since this problem cropped up so I know I’m not over on miles.

Did you also do the Crankcase vent delete? I would check the boost pressure/temp sensor on the rear of the intake horn, a single torx screw. There is an updated one available from Cummins for around $45.

Yes I did the crankcase vent mod too. I also used the glacier air horn that replaced the stock with throttle valve. I’ll have to check that sensor. Thanks

Any updates on this? I've got the same issue with the Perform Service message popping up under medium load/boost situations after the CCV delete. Does the updated pressure/temp sensor tackle this problem, or are they unrelated issues?

It's a 2012. Maybe it's just the built in mileage timer telling you it's due. Have you done a simple reset procedure?

Update:
Ok, so along with the CCV reroute you also have to take the filter out of the valve cover and delete the media and reuse the portion that seals against the valve cover. Basically the crankcase pressure sensor was reading out of bounds because of too much pressure in the crank case. Once I deleted this and ran a 3/4" hose from the valve cover to a catch can I mounted on the firewall it hasn't done it again. From the catch can I then used the 90 degree 3/4" hose with a small round filter on it. So far so good under all extremes and no oil in the catch can. I suppose you could just run a hose to the ground like the past 24 valve motors did but I chose a catch can just in case.
