I bought a 2012 3/4 ton 60 days ago. In that time there have been three different times that whatever temperature the hot or cold dial is set to when I turn it off it is stuck on that when I start the truck the next time. IE it was hot one afternoon so I had the dial set to cold the next morning it was cold so I set the dial to hot to run the heater and it blew cool air while on the hot setting. it has done the opposite as well. If I turn the truck off and let it sit for a while. Everything works like its supposed to once restarted.

Anyone else having any trouble with this?

Possible blend door sticking, The blend door actuators cannot be adjusted or repaired and must be replaced if inoperative or damage The A/C-heater control learns the blend-air door stop positions during the calibration procedure and will store a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for any problems it detects in the blend door actuator circuits. Should be covered under warranty, I would have it checked out.

Haven't heard of that, +1 on take it to a good dealer (if it's easily repeatable).

Thats just it, it is really spuratic its only done it 3 times in 60 days. Im running jobs in the permian basin and the dealers are covered up with repairs they are all at least two weeks out before they could even look at it thats why I asked here. Thanks for the replies.
