Besides possibly making my truck, a 2017 Laramie, look a little cooler, is there any benefit to replacing the exhaust from the DPF back with a five inch, higher flowing exhaust? It seems to me all the restrictions would be forward of the larger exhaust. My '05 had a five inch exhaust from the turbo back and I really liked it. But if there's no benefit I can't see spending the money.

it would be louder unless you got a muffler which then your not changing much of anything

My vertically placed, 5" dual system is aft of the DPF with all other factory emission controls intact...I think it sounds great, but that's just my opinion......Ben
