I've done mine for several months now.[coffee][laugh]

I'm considering deleting the DPF on mine, and also swapping the muffler for one that will allow a little more sound to come out the tail pipe... the only problem is i like to stay within the legal limits. and in texas we have to deal with emmissions crap here. Does anyone know if it is legal do this in texas?

I would imagine that it isn't legal anywhere. The emissions equipment is by federal mandate, correct? Some states do emissions inspections, while others don't. I would imagine that the days are numbered to delete the DPF and the EGR. Sooner or later they will crack down on it.

I have the Mini Maxx and DPF delete on my truck, but it doesn't seem to give me much extra power on any setting. At the risk of asking a stupid question, what is the load percentage readout measuring? Mine will go to 100% load at part throttle, and will run at 10-20% load at idle. I cant get my EGT's over 800 no matter how long I hold it wide open. Thanks

AND????

we want to know stuff like your MPG and the power it has now. can you tell us more than ya I did it? do you like it would you recommend others to do it. what did it cost.

I get 18-21mpg, my oil stays clean, my auto start still works. Stock I'm 286rwhp and on hot I'm around 400rwhp (I ran wild on the dyno and got 384rwhp). All I've done is deleted the dpf/cat, with a home made delete pipe. I bought black maxx for around $1100-1200, can't remember exactly. My throttle (turbo) response is better now with the dpf/cat long gone. Towing a 12k trailer I average 12-14mpg, max egt's around 1200 deg's running on stock, no power. It tows my RV really nicely. The digital display is ok, could be abit better, but that's me. I want to see other stuff, like injector performances, turbo cool down timer. H&S are decent guys to deal with on the phone.

RAMRODD 09-21-2010 08:56 AM

I am running 17.5 mpg with the delete. I gained 3 mpg driving and my towing mileage is about 2mpg better. I know I would do better if I slowed down [laugh]

Max egt's I hit is 1150 on hot on a 0 to 1/4 mile run. I broke my egt wire and H&S did send me a new one for free. I just got it fixed like 2 days ago so I don't know what my towing egt's were so I was just running on the lowest level.

My only dislike on the H&S is my exhaust brake cuts out at 30mph I hate that but am told they are working on a update.
