Banks Exhaust?
I am thinking of putting a banks exhaust on my truck. from the DPF back or course. I would like to know if anyone has put one of these on a stock truck. What have you noticed? power? sound? likes? dislikes?
I am concerned with releaving the back pressure and it affecting the exhaust brake performance.
Also, I like the idea of a warranty so i am trying to keep it intact. so would an intake void it as well?
Thanks in advance

I had one on my 2004.5 and really like it. But my understanding on the 2010 is that the factory exhaust already has a straight pass through design so very little advantage to be had by changing the exhaust. most systems don't even come with a muffler with only helps increase the exhaust sound. The real restrictions in our system is the Cat, nox, and DPF filters. I thought along the same lines at first and decided to spend my money else where....

i agree, the banks exhaust is a waste of money. i found out the hard way and bought it. just rip out that dpf and keep it handy in case you have to go in for warranty work

I was looking at it for my new truck. But it would be a waste. I did how ever like it on my 04.5 it made nice sound and got rid of the 70mph drone I had with that truck...

HUGE waste of money.
If you are not deleting, leave it stock. The DPF/NOx/CAT are the culprits when it comes to air flow.
Anything "filter back" is a joke.
