Thats what I am hoping for as I do 4-5 tanks a month.

I use my truck for work 90% of the time, towing landscape supplies (brick), aggregates in the dump trailer and plowing etc so the cost of the programmer will pay for itself very quickly in my case.

So, do I understand that the H&S tuner disables the EGR function making an EGR delete unnecessary?

x2, also is there a tranny tune for the 2012s? WHat can you expect out of the tranny tune, firmer shifts?

Supposedly for the 2010+ it is no longer necessary to do anything with the EGR to include unplugging it according to H&S. However, some may recommend to remove it anyhow due to the possibility of blow-by.

Yes for the tranny tunes for 2012 - http://www.hsperformance.com/overdrive/

and yes for firmer shifts. Lots of folks on here have been more than happy with the Overdrive software...myself included.

On the DPF removed tunes it does, but you still must remove the exhaust components. You can leave the underhood stuff alone if you need. This is how mine is ran for the time being.

On the DPF present tunes it just ups the performance. The truck will still regen.
