2016 and newer trucks: any issues?
So I might be in the market for a new truck as my '08 is becoming a nightmare with emissions.
Anyone have a new (or newer) truck? How's it working out for you?
Thanks!

Perfect, thanks Dave!
We have a bunch of 2019 trucks here in my area with steep discounts, and I'd like to either get away from the manual and the problems I've been having with emissions. I'm almost $1200 into it now, and they're having problems not only with codes, but sensors (and finding which sensor is freaking out). Once I get it right I'd love to delete it completely but having to "fix" it every other year is just an aggravation I'd rather not deal with.

My 17 5500 has been excellent!!! she just topped 70,000 miles ( it is a tow truck ) and i work it pretty hard. Hands down the best truck I have ever owned. The 12 i have had some emissions and turbo issues around 40,000 and i was concerned that i would have the same issues with the 17 when i got it. But i gotta say cummins / ram have it all figured out pretty good nowadays. do your maintenance as needed and i would bet you wont run into any real problems with a new one.
