6.7 cummins swap

hi guys

I own a 2011 dodge ram 6.7 cummings. I started a project so I installed the engine, trans and all the components in to a 86 k10 chevy, the engine turns on, but the gauges and the gas pedal do not work, the odometer says NO BUS. I live in San Luis Mexico at the south border of San Luis Arizona, there are very few diesel specialists here, so first I need to find out who can make it work properly. My question is, is there any programmer or any company that can eliminate as many not needed modules of functions on my computer? This car is going to be used for off roading and the objective is to eliminate what in the future could cause a mechanical failure difficult to diagnose since I said, there are few diesel specialists in this town. I hope you can come up with any idea on which way can I go.

Thanks!

Sounds like your up for a big challenge. I believe your engine is a drive by wire. Injector timing is all done by the ecm, and the list will go on and on. Do you have the donor truck to get the harness and everything out of? Your going to need everything.

the last thing you need is a "diesel specialists " you need to get rid of all the computer controlled aspects of the 6.7

That is my question, if there is any tunner or company that can do it, or even an aftermarket programable computer..

Perhaps this is what you are after - the Zeus ECM.

Nearly every module can be turned off in the TIPM via the OBDII port using the AutoEnginuity ScanTool.

You'll need the scan tool plus enhanced Chrysler and Dodge interface (code) to be able to access the TIPM. I have it and have turned on and off various modules in my 2010.

Contact the folks at destroked.com to see if that will work with what you are after. You'll still need the TIPM so you may be better off getting the ScanTool and turning everything off you don't need.

Keep us posted on your project.
