2011 mirrors
 

I Just got a 2011 ram 2500 diesel ST. The outside mirrors have white plastic corners which i assume are lights, but the do not work. Any clues

On my 12 work truck, they are puddle lights, only come on when I open the door.

I am sure he's talking about the turn signala in the corners of the mirrors...they are only turn signal light and they do not come on as running lights.

not in the mirror surface, in the black plastic housing. cannot see from inside the cab

i have never seen them on, day or night, rain or shine. They are on the top quarter of the mirror housing

When you say top quarter, is that with the mirror up or down? Turn on one of your turn signals then get out and see if it flashes, if not open, or close mirror and see if it flashes in the other position.
