On my 14 4x4 driving from Fl to Mi at highway speeds + I averged 20+ MPG. No trailer, just truck. City I'm lucky to get 14-15. Took trip in Novwember and averaged 80 MPH where I could. Traded truck last week but it only had 36000 miles on it. Now have a 2018. Only 400 miles on it so hopefully will make a few trips in the next few months and will see. Guess I need to soften the edges on it a bit by putting a few miles on it then hopefull it will deliver similuar mileage.

5400 miles on my 20 day-old 2018. Averaged 13-14 around town with a few minutes of warmup idle twice a day. I'm now dragging a loaded trailer across the country (GCVW 23,300), and once I cleared the Canadian cliffs I'm seeing 10.3 - 11.1, with a high of 12.4. I can't complain about that at all. Especially as I've mostly just set the cruise at 65mph and let it go.

Around town I'm getting 15 ish. Towing a 23' TT, anywhere from 12-14. Highway driving, staying around 55-60 I got 23 which is my best to date.

These numbers are all hand calculated and at least 10% less than the lie-o-meter indicates.

I just installed new tires and the fuel economy dropped across the board. Could be the larger diameter circumference tires. Not sure. But did drop.

16 Ram 15.5 mpg at 67mph, not bad as the truck weighs 9840lbs full of fuel. Bought it specifically to tow my fifth wheel which is right at 20,000 lbs. can’t complain. The average mpg shown on the dash, is not close to reality. Running at 72 it shows 17 or better when it’s closer to 12.5 to 13.

Towing in Fifth gear 10 to 10.5. Really needs 4:30 gears to stay in 6th gear. But that won’t help mileage when not towing so just leave her in 5th.

Hi there! Yes, please send me that spreadsheet!! I need it!! With a big thank you in advance.. I feel that the stations are screwing me at times, but I have no idea how to prove this! Im a single lady who lives in a man's world- and Im reminded of this frequently! My latest truck is a 2012 3500 4 x 4 6speed manual- single wheel mega I've done full deletes- big exhaust- air box et all with a EFI live tune and I'm still getting crappy *** 15 to 16 miles per gallon-and thats if I'm lucky. I was easily getting 25 to 28 mpg in my 03 everything the same except with a diff Tune(cant remember which one) &without the mega -of course. I should've never sold that truck -dumb chick! But I did put about 280,000 miles on it- 1 clutch - ha ha! I love my Dodges!!
