I'm okay with it so far. I'm concerned with putting real weight on the back. The 05 would easily roll 20,000+ from the start sometimes even at idle. The 13' doesn't seem to have that capability though again I've yet to test it. I will say that the factory GN / 5vr hitch is a joke. I had to spend over $250.00 today just to get a 2-5/16 ball and chain hooks for it. One would think a $65,000 truck would've come with it

I agree about the factory goose hitch and just try getting those safety chains into the sockets when they are full of dirt or ice. I guess you didn't see my post from a few months ago about the goose hitch, you should have gone with a B&W turnover. As soon as my son and I saw the factory one he ditched his factory order truck and chose one off the lot without a factory goose, the B&W is very smooth and even easier to install than prior models. I would suggest no one order a factory goose hitch without first seeing one close up.

On another note you talk about the lag off the line or maneuvering, my son has mentioned the same thing although he says it's not there or not noticeable when towing. I meant to ask him if he's tried holding down the trans in a lower gear like 4th or 5th when driving in traffic and what the results are, have you tried that? We met for lunch the other day and he told me he had spoke with H&S just recently, they now say 6 months away, he's going to delete and also hoping H&S will have an answer for the traction control.

Jebus that thing sure is purty. I often pass a dealer and think about trading. Then I step on the skinny pedal and the 467.7 starts talking to me and it just goes right away.

Not true.

Take a 6.7, apply the right hard parts and several bags of cash, and you too can regularly flirt with 20mpg on the highway. All time high score for me. 20.8

Now with the 13-14's much better then the 12's I had a 12 that would get about 14 figured by hand and now my 13 has gotten 21 hwy figured by hand!! Much better truck all the around with the one exception of the LAG that I hate!!!!

You'll really enjoy the 2013 6.7L. My signature says it all. I deliver a lot of trailers for a nearby trailer manufacturer, and dead-heading home I've achieved as much as 18.6 MPG hand-calculated. A few other times----17.5 mpg +/- hand calculated can be the norm. These trucks pull like an angry locomotive.
