lemme start by saying hey everyone. im new to the diesel world and im sure I will be asking question that will make a lot of you shake your head.
but im excited to learn the diesel ways!. I just bought my first diesel truck, its a 2014 Ram 2500 6.7L manual. bought it with 49K miles. I LOVE IT !...so first question as im sure EVERYONE asks when they get their first diesel, deletes?? if I guy wants to keep his truck as close to stock as possible and just eliminate the EGR and DPF system, what would be his best route?

I wouldn't touch a thing! Especially where you've got lots of warranty left. Ram/Cummings nailed it with the 2013s and up. The DEF trucks get great mpgs & tremendous power. They don't suck down the fuel, throw codes or dilute oil like the 2010-2012s (but they are great trucks, deleted). Once your warranty is up if you start having problems with codes and such then you might consider deleting.
Welcome aboard and nice truck! I especially like the manual tranny- tough to find.
