It sits in the carport most of the time. We drive our car mostly. the truck is used to pull a 24' fifth wheel to local campouts once a month and to Good Sam Samborees in Waco and sometimes Shreveport or Texarkana once a year. It just isn't driven as a daily driver and nevr has been lol.

Lil dog, you ever get around to jamming up that new truck of yours? We have to get it strapped onto a dyno and see if the 3rd gen smarty is better than a 4th gen on H&S?

I have a few 12V's 5.9L, few VP's 5.9L, CR 5.9L and a few 6.7L. Trick is trying to enjoying them all.

I come from towing my RV with my 5.9L, been jammed up from day one. My newer truck seems better towing, stock wise than the earlier truck.

Ripping apart a 490000km 98.5 VP 5.9L engine right now out of an original owner truck, the engine almost shows no wear so far. Even the cylinders are in decent shape. I think that a truck that never gets used, hard to say.

The shop is busy. Must have at least three sitting in the garage right now. Bits and pieces here and three. Might have more engines now than turbos.

So Dog, have if you ever run the truck flat out yet? With the smarty? I've done mine a few times today. Still slower than the 02 truck. With the new H&S tune I'm in the 40psi for boost. Been wondering if a different turbo would improve the truck.
