its either or. smarty loaded with ME software to shut it off or the truck is returned to "stock" programming. if you do deletes and return to stock programming, it will set a check engine light. not recommended to run ME software without deletes. also on the 6.7 smarty is detectable by the dealer unlike on the 5.9. thus impacting warranty

the added power is sweet but I personally am waiting until I get 25k+ miles on mine before doing deletes. Want it broke in good and shake things down before I become my own warranty company even though I got connects lol. just not taking the chance
