Yep. That was the one. When I did mine for the first time, it wouldn't come off and when I read the manual again, I saw where it says to open the drain first. It was still pretty tight. I expect the next change to be easier.

got a quote from dealer to change, $167.00. It shouldn't take someone more than 10 minutes to do. If they know what they are doing. So since I will be doing this my self, anyone know of a step by step guide? is the nut cap on top righty tighty lefty loosey or is it a backwards setup? To simplify more do I turn the wrench towards the front of the truck or the cab to loosen?

They wanted $167 to change just the filter?????? Come on by, I hook you up for $50 and a lunch. But I do eat pretty good, you might just be better off at the dealer.

That is what all you can eat buffets are for. Yeah dealers to to charge way to much for maintainable work. I finally got it but had to crawl into engine bay. That would have been niche easier ten years ago.

Here's a pic of the filter set I put on my truck. The kit was from GDP.

Where did you mount the fuel pressure gauge? I have a console to fight with. Might have to throw some gauges into a pod or onto the dash. I would run a fuel pressure snubber, those fancy autometer fuel pressure sensor units don't like pulsations to much. My older truck, I just ran a 1/8in stainless tubing into the cab and mounted a 0-60psi pressure gauge that I found at work. Been working for nearly 8 years now. Even used work swedgelock fittings for everything.

Any of you guys remove the stock fuel pump from the fuel pick-up unit?

Sooner or later....

Got a brand spanky new ADII sitting in the shop just a patiently waiting for me to get my rear end home and install it. Gonna gut the factory module and install the provided draw straw. The return uses the factory pickup.

Can anyone tell me what the correct fuel pressure range is. I have the EDGE Insight and it shows 5 kpsi at idle and around 20 while driving. So what is the high and low.
