Cruise control not working 2011 5500

I have a dpf deleted 2011 ram 5500 with efi live. Cruise control stopped working and do not know exactly when it happened. The truck was bought at an auction driven back and worked the whole way. From there it went to a shop and apparently didn't work on that trip. After that we finally realized it truly didn't work. We found a rear abs sensor issue which we repaired; replaced sensor and wiring. Also replaced the cruise control switch which is located behind the steering wheel not on the front side. As of now we don't have any codes up besides a reverse light burned out code because of LED lights, which was the only one that we didn't install a resistor. Also there are no lights are on the dash. Brake lights all work correctly and parking brake is working correctly as well. I am looking on input for what else to look for or if I should look into the tune to see if the cruise was deleted.

I'm having the same cruise issue with a 2011 5500, have you found a repair for your truck?

We sent the truck to have the tuner looked at and couldn't find anything. Then we sent to a dealership and they couldnt find any problems and then we sent to a different dealership and they couldn't find anything and just wanted to throw an ECM at it and start there. We declined that and we're thinking of finding an aftermarket cruise control system for it.

that’s exactly what happened here as well, Chrysler was saying that fault was in the ECM due to everything else being good.

I don’t know how the brake light switch is made on the Rams but on my Silverado the brake light switch has 2 different switches in the 1 housing. When the brake pedal is released 1 set of contacts closes and the other opens and the lights go off. I’ve changed several on different GMs and the cruise would work afterwards. May not help but you can check it.
Incidentally my cruise indicator light on the dash wouldn’t work either until I changed the switch.
