Can't Find Coolant Leak

Have a coolant leak on driver's side that I can't track down. It seems to be collecting under the radiator on the drivers side, right near the drain for the radiator. There is foam rubber underneath the radiator and it stays soaked on the bottom corner of the radiator, but not all the way across. Just had a coolant flush and oil change done at the dealer - no leaks before that. I have an appointment at the dealer on Friday for them to look at it - just looking for some ideas here on where to look and learn something in the process. think it's the water pump as everything around that area looks dry, but I can't see the weep hole. At operating temps, rad cap is warm but never really gets what I would call hot. Coolant reservoir full. No evidence of water in the oil. Seems to run a little hotter (used to run 197-199 at highway speeds, not towing) and now runs 201-203 but will go down to 197-199 when I let off the throttle. Truck is stock.

Thanks for any ideas/suggestions,

Bob

Check the radiator drain it could be finger tight, as for the rad cap not getting hot I'll bet the coolant is low in the rad. If you have a pressure tester it will show if the system has a leak just by the pressure drop. You can see the weep hole using a flash light and an adjustable inspection mirror, the pump is over on the passenger side of the engine kind of under the alternator and in a little.

Thanks, Busboy - rad is full, at least when cool. Reservoir is at the "min" mark, and rises some when up to temps. Doesn't seem to leak when cold, only when hot. Don't have a pressure tester but am going back to the dealer on Friday. Front of engine is all dry and doesn't look like fan has been blowing coolant everywhere - all evidence of the leak appears to be localized. I'll check the drain plug tightness tomorrow. Is there a torque value for it?

Thanks again,

Bob

Well, found the leak. Radiator is split - bottom driver's side where the side is attached to the main radiator body. New radiator being installed as I type this...
