Boy, did I screw up!
I don't know how I did it, but I started pouring a diesel fuel additive into the DEF tank instead of the fuel tank. I caught myself after I about an ounce went in. I unhooked the inlet to the DEF tank and pumped it out until it was sucking air. My plan was to add new DEF and pump that out then refill the tank. Then I read the manual. They indicate that even a small amount of a petroleum product (as little as 100 ppm, i.e.1 oz per 78 gal.) will contaminate the system requiring replacement. Has this happened to any of you and how did you handle it? I am afraid to even start it to visit the dealer.
