Any one familiar with what the code p1451 evap code is? I have a weak blower fan only works on high and hardly blows on any thing other than Hi and was curious if the two were connected. Taking it in to the shop later today.

Just a plain ole guy
Codes can be funny to deal with. If you look up this code and add 3500 Diesel to the search, I get this P1451-DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER SYSTEM PERFORMANCE. That would tell me it needs a regen cycle or maybe there is an issue with it. Is there visible soot in the end of the exhaust pipe? That would mean a cracked dpf guts which is bad. Do you have any warranty left? if it's anything big I would thing that your about to get some advice to delete it. It might just need a good running. I doubt it has anything to do with your blower. Does your blower run on all speeds and just not blow? If so, then that is a vent door issue. IF not, then it's a blower resister pack issue.

Funny you should mention regen and I have a warranty still dealer allowed me to do the bullybto monitor a code that was saying bad intercooler to monitor the boost gotta love a good dealer, I uninstalled the chip couple days after seeing that code because the deal needed updated. On the way home I was running in 4th gear and pretty steep rpm climibg a hill,by watching the 2nd pyro probe its temp was holding out around 800 degrees witch ment it went into soft regen but the #1 pyro temp was around 450 to 500 with is normal, and the urea injectors were ticking away. I've came to the conclusion now that the few times I've seen this code and it goes away is the truck telling its self to do a regen. Kind of fun being able to monitor the truck and seeing the random self codes it uses to communicate with its self.
