4th gen, 6.7-to-G56 pressure plate torque specs

Hello all,

Someone previously posted the correct torque specs for flywheel, pressure plate, etc. for this 4th gen 6.7/G56 combination and unfortunately, I can't seem to re-locate that post.

Can anyone tell me where to find that link or what those specs should be?

I have to ask, how many miles on your truck and how’s the G56 holding up?

Hello RC,

I have 194,000 miles on it now. In fact, today, I finally completed the clutch install.
The G56 is doing okay except when I coast downhill with the engine brake on; the transmission will pop out of high gear so I have to hold the stick but I think I know what I did; some months ago, I stupidly took a full load of cars through Death Valley in the middle of the day instead of just going around. Ever since then, I have this problem with the G56. I believe the syncro is gone.

Ralph
