220 Amp Alternator Recall
Read in the news this morning of another recall for our trucks. This one affects 2007 and up 2500, 3500, and C&C versions with the 220A alternator.

I pulled the build sheet on mine and it's the 160A, so I get to sit this one out.
Going to post the same on the 3rd Gen forum

There are 10,000 vehicles being recalled in Canada and mine is the 2014 3500. How do I find out what type of alternator I have as I am leaving for Arizona at the end of December and would like it done if needed before I leave?

Anyone can get a complete build sheet by visiting dodge.com and finding the Contact Us link. On the page that loads there's a link on the left that says "Equipment Listing"
Click that, enter VIN, get a pdf file of your truck's (or any FCA vehicle's) original build sheet.
I did the same for my Jeep just to have it.
This link may work, but not 100% certain:
