2015 Engine Limp But no Code

So, on 6-8 occasions over the last month I've lost engine power, engine did not die, and then it recovers and is as nothing happened. I've had it to a private mechanic 2 times and there are no codes. Today he went for a drive with me with his Snap-On Diagnostic equip hooked up, of course nothing happened during the drive.
************************************************** ************
2 times as I was turning onto my street it has occurred. I'm driving in 5th gear at 55mph, slow down and coast onto my road, push the accelerator and nothing. Engine kind of stumbles a bit, and in a few seconds it comes back to life.

2 times while traveling at 60-65 mph for a 3-4 mile stretch, up a grade for about a mile then levels off for 1/4-1/3 mile before a stop light. Stop at the light then go for green and nothin, just idle rpm's. The first time this happened I limped off onto the shoulder, shut the truck off and waited for 10-15 seconds, restarted the truck and it was fine.

2 times on the freeway at 70+ mph. 1st time was just a quick stumble as I was accelerating to around someone. 2nd time I lost power to accelerate, all I could do was coast until it woke up.

2015-6.7-68rfe. 61,000 miles. I change oil and filter and both fuel filters at 20% life. FF's changed at 57k. Just changed the CCV filter yesterday.

Thanks for reading

I had something similar over this last summer, then I noticed I had no boost pressure momentarily, the vanes on my exhaust brake were sticking from not using it over last winter while moving it about 40ft in and out of the garage. It did eventually throw a code but I don't remember what it was, it also damaged my manifold air temp/pressure sensor and since replacing it and making a deliberate effort to always engage the exhaust brake as much as possible I haven't had the problem again.

Update

Update to the problem I was having. I had the truck in for the SCR recall and was able to talk to the service manager who is also a diesel tech. He said that the issue I was having sounded like it was egr valve related. He used the term "Tip in". Something to do with when there isn't enough venturi to draw in egr then the throttle valve closes to create vacuum, blah, blah, blah. His suggestion was to clean the egr valve.

I cleaned it this wkd, got it back together and went out for a test run on a section of road where I've had the throttle loss/limp issue several times. Nada. Turned around and ran it again, nada. I've ran that road 4 times in the last 2 days and the truck is fine. Ran another area that I've had an issue 3-4 times and the truck didn't do it. I know it's early, but I think the problem is resolved.

I didn't think the egr valve was too sooty. But, I guess it was enough to cause the shaft to not move freely enough, IDK. But all seems well now.
