2013 & 2014 Ram 2500 recurring check engine light

Is the Check Engine Light a frequent issue with the Ram 2500 series?
I have bought two Ram 2500 diesels in the past year. The 2013 bought in March '18, the 2014 bought in Jan. '19. The 2013 had a NOX sensor issue 7 miles after I signed the papers. It had another in a couple months and again in Dec. '18.
The 2014 I bought 10 days ago, got the Check Engine Light 70 miles after signing. Dealer fixed it, NOX sensor. I got 10 miles when another Check Engine Light comes on. Dealer is still fixing that and I don't know what the problem was yet.
Is there a recurring issue with the 2500 breed? Or am I the only one with such luck?

Well step 1 get a cheap code reader and start reading them and seeing what they are.

A dealer should test drive a truck a few start ups and miles after a repair not just throw parts at her.

I think you’ve had a case of bad luck and poor dealers. These trucks are pretty trouble free.
