U-Joint Sizes

I am looking for the u-joint sizes for the rear axle drive shaft for 3500, 4500 and 5500 chassis cab trucks. I would like to get the standard 'series' or spicer size if that is possible and not a dodge part number.

Thanks!

Dodge has used different driveshaft configurations in the same wheelbase trucks and on 2500/3500 models use different u joints if auto or manual.
In general the autos use 1415 rear u joints and the g56 trucks use 1485 series.
Both are .1" narrower outside dimension than the standard 1410 and 1480 series to account for the outside snap ring.
Best way is to measure what you got in the truck. AAM axle pickups use the "5" series ujoints. Both GM and Dodge also interchanged Dana Spicer shafts with AAM shafts on some trucks. After beating my head against a wall and asking all got questions and even getting confusing info from a driveline shop, I measured mine and found out I have an AAM shaft and 1485 u joints.
Then I just bought a one piece shaft rather than rebuilding the pos 2 piece shaft.
Cost me an addl $400 over the parts alone for the 2 piece and saved me a few hrs of rebuilding the driveshaft. Tuck drives night and day better with the G56 and less slop in the driveshaft.
Look up Denny's driveshaft. They have a good parts list.
I don't know about the 4500 and 5500 models.
