I ordered front and rear shocks from Rockauto.com, they are Monroe and labeled for 4500 ram trucks for my year model. I have looked for a long time and couldn't find any for my truck. The fronts fit. The rear shocks...the bolt on the axle fits in the shock, the top frame bolt is bigger diameter than what the shock takes.

What brand and part # have you bought that fit the rear, and fronts for that matter. Thanks!

 

Surely someone has replaced shocks on thier CC? If I run a search online, it only comes up with Monroe, doesn't give me other options for these trucks. Really want bilstiens.

 

Called Monroe, and Bilstein neither of them offer any for our trucks. Not sure what I can do since the stockers are shot.

 

Mine are still stock with a woppin' 26K on them.. Thanks for doing the footwork thou

 

Update

After wearing out a set of monroe in the front @ 10k miles. Stock rears are shot for a while now. Today i ordered bilstein 5160 remote res shocks for the front, 5100 shocks for rear, and steering stabilizer. Arrives friday. I have to mod rear shock top link. Cut off top link on the stock shock, and put on 5100. (Cut link off 5100 too) dealer sells the shocks for $150/shock...im not doing that. Hopefully 5160s will last a while. Ill update after i drive on them next week. Guess ill be the test for our c&c trucks.
