runs rough at low rpms
started about two months ago, when rolling just above idle or slowing down engine is rough. feels almost like torque converter is not releasing.
been to dealer twice this week no codes. front tires were warn (have rotated them 3 times prior) vehicle has 28,300 miles and an '08, so had them rotated again with back tires as always (these good year nobbies leave a lot to be desired) still no imporvment.
any ideas?
thanks

With age comes the cage
Rich,
Have you followed ponyboy's post on the busted TC and Transmission? check all of the u joints / slip joints ect carrier bearing ect..
There is a flash for the Aisan transmission's as well .. How many hot-towing miles on the tranny fluid and what does it look / smell like? it might be time for a change.. There is a plug in the pan so no more of the ol drop-n-splash.. Mine is throwing a code P 0700 I hope to get it in next week..

dealer svc dept refuses to do anymore until i buy 6 new tires about $2400. even tho 4 of the tires have about 50% of their tread life left. guess i'll call dodge in the am. got to get good year commercials opinion.

If they are so confident ask them to borrow a set from another truck to test.

NDancker, they do not have any 19.5's on the lot, so i am thinking about taking it to the commercial goodyear place near here and have them speed balance them and than check it out. if the problem still exists and the dealer refuses to do anything i will take it to another dealer about 30 miles away.
crazylunker thanks for the link.
