3500C&C vs 3500DRW trucks
I've been comparing the 2 and understand that:
3500C&C has a different: Auto (aisin) frame (straight frame) engine power output. I am trying to compare the 3500DRW vs the 3500 C&C on the Dodge site.. Dodge reads a: 13.9" rotor size for 3500DRW 13.87" rotor size for 3500 C&C 23,000lbs GCWR for 3500 C&C 24k lbs GCWR for 3500DRW It looks like you get more fuel capacity with the 3500C&C. Otherwise, what reason would there be to get a 3500C&C over a 3500 SRW? Different-easier frame to attach different boxes to, with a stronger frame? Please enlighten me. |
I think the rearend is different too. The C&C is bigger, I want to say 12.5" or something like that. I know that the C&C has more spring on the back then 3500. Fuel cell is 52 gal. and 3500 is like 35 gal.

The rear axle is a different width.

Oh, I thought they were saying that the diff. was larger, as in a 12.5" ring rear. As opposed to a 11.5 for the 3500's

The C&C has a different emission system making it very easy to remove it without problems, the C&C has a different cam, your options are limited for performance mods right now because most programmers will not work with the truck. The Aisin has a better warranty with a low,low first and reverse gear.
