2014 4500 & 5500 Engine

Its seems the ads on TV indicate the trucks will be equiped with the 850 ft/lb
6.7 Cummins.

When you go to AlPar, they only talks about the 6.9 Hemi.

Does anyone know if they will finally put the big engine in and raise the GCWR higher than 26,000 lbs.

Thanks for the info. I had read that prior to posting. It only talks about two differant engines, one being the 6.9 Hemi and the Cummins engine with no details on HP and Torque.

As mentioned I checked at AlPar were there was no info either.

The two options for the diesel are the de rated manual transmission which is at 650 or 660 ft lb of torque, and 750 ft lb with auto. I wish that there was the 850 option as I would have it on my 13 5500. Doesnt look like any changes besides the gas motor in my opinion.
