Wiring Diagram for Headlight Circuit

Hey guy's,

Been a while since I have posted here, but I have an issue with my 04 that I need some help with. My low beam headlight on the driver side has stopped working, still have high beam. I changed the bulb but that has not corrected the issue. Was hoping one of you guys had a wiring diagram of the headlamp circuit that you would share.

One other question, I have read that this failure could be related to the TIPM. However there seems to be some conflicting information on what model years have TIPM and ones that have FCM. Could you guys clairify that?

Thanks for the help.

Most likely the FCM, DRB is used to diagnose and pull codes, (dealer) The FCM can be replaced mounts to PDC at Loc #2 in picture

OPERATION
As messages are sent over the PCI bus circuit, the front control module reads these messages and controls power to some of the vehicles electrical systems by completing the circuit to ground (low side driver) or completing the circuit to 12 volt power (high side driver). The following functions are Controlled by the Front Control Module:

Headlamp Power with Voltage Regulation
Windshield Wiper “ON/OFF” Relay Actuation
Windshield Wiper “HI/LO” Relay Actuation
Windshield Washer Pump Motor
Fog Lamp Relay Actuation
Park Lamp Relay Actuation
Horn Relay Actuation
The following inputs are Received/Monitored by the Front Control Module:

B+ Connection Detection
Power Ground
Ambient Temperature Sensing
Ignition Switch Run
Washer Fluid Level Switch
Windshield Wiper Park Switch
PCI Bus Circuit

Before you buy an FCM, remove the fuse box and check all the plugs underneath. Same thing happened to mine. Turns out one of the pins had corroded and wasn't making contact.

Awesome guys! Thanks for the information. I am going to pull the FCM and check the connections and wiring to the headlamp assembly.

If it does turn out to be FCM, is it plug and play or will will modual need to be coded to the truck?

Nope, it is a plug and play setup. No need for a trip to the dealer.
