Pretty cool! I just zip-tied the plug wire on mine to my brush guard so it's stays put.[coffee]

I mounted mine right next to the tow hook on the passenger side - there is a sinngle screw there for the plastic trim. Removed the screw, and used the same hole for the bolt/washer/nut that comes with the connector.

I didn't cut the end of the cord off the block heater the way the instructions say. I took an outdoor extension cord and cut the plug end off (left about 8" of cord) and wired the extension cord into the connector, then just plugged the bblock heater cord into that. I wanted to be able to go back to 'stock' if I didn't like the new connector.

Works great - I went through last winter with the factory plug, and the new connector makes it easier to plug/unplug.

The connection is located right behind the oil filter. Take the black cap off and install the cord. There are 3 plugs that hold the cord on the frame rail. Once you have done that it is up to you on where you want the plug to sit. Here is a pic of mine. Works great...

I installed mine with a friend last spring.

I can't remember enough to give an explanation, but we DID cut the factory cord like the instructions say and I used one of the factory holes to mount it.

I do remember using a different nut and/or bolt than what was supplied for a better fit.

Other than that it works great and you can barely see it!

I bought that same plug much cheaper than geno's and mounted it right below the front plate. Been using it for a long time and it is great. Pics in gallery.
