Wife still has truck

I am trying to post a question on here, but all they have here is a PC. Why aren't all computers, by law, Macs? I am on a hunting trip. My wife has my truck. She says a light came on on the left side of the dash. She literally cannot describe it beyond the fact that it is yellow! I am pushing it by going further with her because of my wonderment, expressed to her, of course, that she cannot describe the blanking thing beyond that. I don't have a manual here, so I am lost. Any ideas? Can she drive it? She has to go to work. I have to go hunting. Hey, I like those last two sentences. Maybe that's why she is so impatient???

Can she get the owners manual out and look it up? And to answer your other question, because Macs are built with a classroom in mind. They've just recently began branching out to the rest of the world. That market mindset has put more pc's out in the hands of people instead of Macs. My personal opinion is because Macs are crappy. I speak from experience. I've used every model of mac since the IIE. Try dropping 1000 macs on a network compared to 1000 pc's. Anything more than a small home network is about all the Apple engineers can do. I know plenty of them first hand as well. They still cannot figure out how to put a simple link led on the outside of the machine so you can quickly see if it's connected to a network.

I'm gonna go with the wait to start light if it's when she goes to start it

If not, it could be any number of things. Guessing at this without any sort of description is like bobbing for apples in the wrong bucket of water...

Hat, I liked your video of the "code check". You should publish that one and promote it. Some people might not understand the instructions...

He said it was on the left side, so I'm thinking it's the CEL.

Depends on how far left he's referring to. I don't know about earlier years, but my WTS lamp is on the left portion of the cluster under the tach.

EDIT: Just watched your video again. Looks like yours is in between the tach and speedo. 06+ is under the tach, so it's more left than yours.

Again, we ALL need to know what year and where she's talking about and SOME sort of description.
