Wheel bearing?

Lately I've noticed an increasingly noticeable droning sound and high frequency vibration in the gas pedal and steering wheel starting about 55 MPH. The sound and vibration both seem to stop as soon as I drop below that speed. The tires are in good shape and balanced. There is no change in the engine RPM, temp or anything else as far as I can tell. A wheel bearing starting go seems like the most likely problem.

Any other ideas would be appreciated.

I'll definately check them. If I get time, I'm going to pull the wheels off this weekend to see if there's anything obviously wrong.
