What gear ratio does my truck have?
 

How do I find out the gear ratio on my truck? It is not on the window sticker, not in the glove box, or inside the door? So how do I know? It's a 2006 Dodge 2500 shortbed quadcab, 6 speed manual. don't know if that makes a difference, but thanks!

If it's an 06 with a 6-speed manual, you have 3.73 gears.

You have 3.73 Gears, BUT the G56 Tranny is internally geared lower than the Auto so you will run a higher RPM than you would if you had the Auto with 3.73. You are comparable to the Auto with 4.10 Gears.
