Glad you're ok, man... sorry about your truck. I often wonder what I would do in an instance like this, I have a lot of dough in my truck. I wonder what they would have given you for a buy back? Enjoy that new ride!

Sure does ride nice, even compared to my 2003 4x2 QC dually. Gonna have to hop over to the 4th Gen forums now, but I'll lurk and help in here when I can. I gotta figure out how to dim the dang nav screen. That sicker blinds me in the night!
Congrats on the new truck.

Thanks... and I have no idea if the motor LEO is available or looking. Didn't come up in conversation LMBO!

My truck total loss value came in in the high $17K range. Buy back was $3,800. I bought it back. Only reason: my Cummins mechanic friend had a guy looking for a work truck. He offered me more than buy back and drove it away (illegal on his part, and I said as much).
I learned that insurance has no way to input aftermarket trans internals. They can only put in "trans rebuild" and that doesn't count if over 50K miles ago.
So, I negotiated with them from $15K value to $17,800 value because of the trans and such.
