weird issue
 

I don't even think this is an issue but lately after I start up the truck when its cold and start driving all of the light diplay things like the engine light and all the other lights like that turn on for a split second and it makes the ding sound. The truck doesn't do anything else weird or different other than that. Does anyone know what this is?

I once saw a truck that when you start it sometimes the key would return slightly too far because of wear, and the truck would still be running, but most of the accessories wouldnt work. You would have to ever so slightly turn the key back to the "run" position. It would make an extra "ding" sound too. Yours may be worn enough that when you hit a small bump, or when the other keys swing just right it moves it out of the "run" position for just a split second, then goes back. Just an idea...
