I've had it with the rain dripping on me when I'm driving and the window is cracked, not to mention the seat is wet if I forget the window is cracked and it rains.

It's time for a set of those black things that go on the door above the window- ventvisors I think they're called. Where did you guys that have them get yours from, and how much were they?

i picked mine up from advanced auto parts custom fit for dodge.. $30. work great.

I got the ones that fit in the window track. Love'em! Always had the type that taped above the window but they eventually would come loose. Plus, I like the look of the window track type.

The ones that mount inside the window track look MUCH BETTER!!!

The ones that mount on the door actually do their job, but can add some wind noise..........

That's two of you in a row that like them. They don't distort where the top of the window shuts? So, they're better than the stick-on ones??? Do they stay put with the window open?

Would you mind taking a picture and posting it so I can see what they look like?

I have had the stick on ones in my last 6 vehicles and have never had a problem with them as long as you install them per the instructions.... I also put a set of the In track ones on my wife's old conversion van. They worked great too. The set for the MegaCab runs about $50 for all four doors...

I have the ones that fit in the tracks, I took them off.

Dust and dirt collects into it and now all the 4 glass top edges are scratched seriously for approx 1/4", especially the driver side which it's been used more often, also windows always sound like scratching every time you lift up or down, regardless of how much you wash your truck.

They work ok but I have mine off while I decide if I they are worth it or not.

I have the ones that fit in the window track, got them from Genos. They are absolutely GREAT. I have not had any problems with dirt collecting in them, they do not interfere with window operation, do the job they were intended to do.

I have used the stick on types in the past, never again. They are a PITA. I have a set of the stick ons on my Jeep Wrangler. Have had to fix them a couple times, they don't do well in a hot climate no matter how anal you are about installing them correctly. I just ordered a window track set for my Jeep the other day.

I have a friend who is a good body man, I asked him if there was some kind of secret to installing the stick-ons because mine kept coming loose on my Jeep, he told me forget that type and go with the door/window channel type like I put on my truck.

All of them DO have some air noise problems, but nothing like when you don't have them. I like to crack both rear door windows, they make for a nice air circulation and the wind noise is hardly noticeable. The DO keep out the rain nicely.

Is there one brand that are better than the others

At first, you will hear some rubbing on the window, but that will go away after they get broken in. I have no scratches or issues with the window at all at this point.

I have had the Westtech, I think that's the name, kind that fit in the track on 2 trucks and yes they did scratch a little bit. Much cleaner look with the in-track kind plus I could never get the stick-on ones to stay on.

I have tried a BUNCH of different brands of in-channel and stick-on vent visors over the years and BAR-NONE the best ones i have found with regards to looks, durability, wind noise, and installation are made by Weathertech.
