Trans ?

My 05 6 speed reverse is to the left and back. A buddy of mine bought his truck a few months earlier his reverse is opposite.

in the middle of the 05 year, dodge dropped the NV5600 6-speed (reverse is over right and up) and replaced it with the G56 6 speed (left and down) you have the g56 and he has the nv5600

Is this a good trans i also tow a gooseneck horse trailer about 8k empty i dont pull that trailer very much mostly my parker lowboy with acouple tons of hay.

From what I've heard, It sounds like a strong tranny.....You should be fine on towing....Can you send my pics of the Lowboy?
